Job summary

Complete Care in Meriden, CT is hiring a RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse) for a full-time, day shift with full benefits.

Responsibilities include developing and updating individual care plans, completing admissions and discharges, coordinating with physicians and families, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring staff. CT RN license and long-term care experience are required. Competitive pay negotiable based on experience; daily pay option and full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of Connecticut as an RN.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, references, and physical.
• Experience in long-term care settings is required.

• Care needs and planning: assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans and supplement hands-on care needs.
• Assessments: complete admissions, discharge and other assessments as needed.
• Triage and interventions: assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families.
• Regulatory standards: ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations.
• Quality assurance: audit documentation and care for quality control/compliance.
• Family and team liaison: communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Team oversight and mentorship: provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments.
