We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team as an Registered Nurse Unit Manager. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity for a clinical leader who enjoys supporting staff, maintaining high standards of care, and making sure daily unit operations run smoothly.
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight of the nursing unit. This position works closely with nursing staff, residents, families, and facility leadership to promote safe, consistent, high-quality resident care.
Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff while overseeing daily unit activities.
Ensure facility and employee policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Provide clinical direction, coaching, and mentorship to nurses and other members of the team.
Maintain appropriate standards of nursing care with a focus on resident safety and quality outcomes.
Review resident documentation and medical records to help ensure appropriate and effective care.
Complete case reviews and monitor compliance with individualized resident care plans.
Respond to resident and family questions, concerns, and needs with professionalism and compassion.
Monitor inventory and ensure the unit has adequate medical and nursing supplies.
Partner with upper management to communicate unit needs, resolve challenges, and improve operations.
Help foster a positive, collaborative environment for both residents and staff.
Current, valid RN license required
2+ years of long-term care experience preferred
1+ year of Unit Manager experience preferred
Basic computer proficiency for clinical documentation and communication
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
Annual Salary: $95,000–$110,000
