Job summary

Whites Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team and oversee resident care at our Whites Creek, Tennessee location. The role emphasizes teamwork, supervision of nurse aides, and maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.

The successful candidate will hold a Tennessee RN license, maintain CPR/BLS certification, and collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and administration to ensure optimal care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unrestricted RN license for Tennessee.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides and oversee assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions and respond as needed.
• Communicate care plan changes with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in all formats.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

RN Unit Manager Position Summary

As a RN Unit Manager at Whites Creek Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
• Perform other assigned duties as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

RN Unit Manager Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
