Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license for Tennessee.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides and monitor their assignments.
• Observe residents' conditions and respond as needed.
• Inform physicians of changes in resident conditions.
• Communicate care plan changes with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (HIPAA).

RN Position Summary

As a RN at Decatur Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
• Inform physicians of any changes in resident conditions.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

RN Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN License for the state of Tennessee
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
