Azure Shores Rehabilitation in Miami, FL is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead the Nursing Department. This daytime role requires strong leadership, organizational skills and a passion for high‑quality patient care.

Key duties include supervising staff, ensuring policy adherence, and daily rounds to monitor resident care. Florida RN licensure and 2+ years in relevant settings are required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years in nursing home/rehab/hospital setting.
• Prior unit manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON and ADON with daily Nursing Dept operations.
• Supervise nursing staff and enforce policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections.
• Address staff concerns and escalate issues to DON as needed.

Salary: $77,500 – $87,500 per year

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with the daily operations of the Nursing Department
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies
• Address staff concerns and grievances, escalating issues to the Director of Nursing as appropriate
• Promote a collaborative, team-focused work environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, or hospital setting
• Prior Unit Manager or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and understanding of resident needs
• Computer literacy required, including Microsoft programs
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
