Job summary

Ambassador Healthcare at College Park in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and support to our nursing team on the day shift.

This role oversees daily operations, mentors staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality resident care. Minimum 2 years SNF leadership experience and an active Florida RN license are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical and operational activities of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, coach, and support nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor staffing needs and assist with reducing overtime and agency utilization.
• Address employee concerns, performance issues, and staff development needs.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Evaluate staff competencies and provide ongoing education and training.
• Support the MDS process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on resident care and discharge planning.
• Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered nursing environment.

Salary: $77,500–$87,500 annually
