Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Palm Beach County, FL is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and to mentor staff. As a full-time leader, you will oversee daily nursing activities, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in care planning and MDS, promote resident-centered care, and address staff concerns.

CPR certification and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing management or supervisory experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active RN license in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
• Nursing home experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily nursing operations on the assigned unit.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Supervise nursing staff, assign duties, and support professional development.
• Review nursing documentation for accuracy and quality of care.
• Address staff concerns, complaints, and grievances in collaboration with leadership.

Position Summary

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing nursing services to ensure the highest level of resident care. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment that prioritizes resident dignity and staff excellence.
