Job summary

Ambassador Healthcare at College Park in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, participate in QAPI, and help recruit and onboard nurses to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of skilled nursing facility experience.
• Prior nursing leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and operational activities of the nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, coach, and support nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor staffing needs and reduce overtime and agency usage.
• Address employee concerns, performance issues, and staff development needs.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Evaluate staff competencies and provide ongoing education and training.
• Support the MDS process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on resident care and discharge planning.
• Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff.
• Promote a positive, resident-centered nursing environment.

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Salary: $77,500-$87,500 annually

Key Responsibilities
