Job summary

Complete Care - New Jersey & PA is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit, oversee staff, and ensure superior resident care. You will coordinate with physicians, mentor team members, and help develop assessments in alignment with HIPAA guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing, an active NJ RN license, and 3+ years in subacute/long-term care leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered New Jersey RN license.
• Current AHA BLS CPR Certification (recommended).
• 3+ years of leadership experience in subacute/long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for residents on the unit assigned.
• Review complaints and grievances by staff and report to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Ensure adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, and equipment on the unit.
• Manage staff, assign nursing/aide duties, conduct rounds, and educate staff, residents, and families.

As a key leader on our unit, you will oversee daily operations, support and mentor nursing staff, and ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care. Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for residents on the unit assigned
• Review complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and make appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as needed
• Ensure an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, and equipment is maintained on the unit at all times
• Manage staff, make nursing/aide assignments, conduct nursing rounds throughout the shift, and provide education to staff, residents, and family members as needed
• Assist in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines

Requirements

Schedule
