Huntington Hills Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Melville, NY, is seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee a dedicated unit’s nursing staff and ensure high-quality care for residents.

This fulltime day shift (7a-3p), Monday–Friday role offers weekly pay, competitive compensation and benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a National Health Care Associates affiliate.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license required.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
• Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
• Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resources.
• Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff.

What You'll Do:

As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

Fulltime day shift, 7a-3p

Monday through Friday ONLY! No weekends.

Rate of Pay

USD $57.25 - USD $59.50 /Hr.

What You’ll Bring:

Qualifications of a Unit Manager include:

• Valid state RN nursing license
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
