Job summary

National Health Care Associates (National) is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for the Day Shift at our Connecticut facility. You will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff to ensure high‑quality care and foster a positive work environment for residents and their families.

You will lead a team of nurses and support staff, develop care plans, supervise daily operations including staffing and resources, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care; interest in the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
