Job summary

Bethesda Care Center in Fremont, OH is hiring an RN Unit Manager for all shifts to lead our nursing team and ensure exceptional resident care. The role offers daily pay options, competitive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive leadership team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, demonstrates strong leadership and clinical decision-making, and is committed to quality care for residents. Experience with long-term care is preferred; PTO and holidays are provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with physicians, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and accurate documentation.
• Monitor residents’ health and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development for nursing staff.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication across departments.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and assist with scheduling.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Support quality improvement, infection control, and compliance initiatives.
• Participate in care conferences and family meetings to update and educate.
