Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager RN to oversee daily operations of a designated unit. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, ensuring care quality, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role involves clinical participation, care planning, admissions coordination, and on-call coverage approximately one weekend per month. A strong leader with 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN License.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a nursing team.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.
• Ensure care aligns with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
• Participate in clinical care including assessments, meds, and care planning.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with the care team.
• Conduct unit rounds to monitor quality of care, infection control and safety.
