Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. This Mon-Fri role focuses on coordinating daily unit operations and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

As the Unit Manager, you will oversee care plans, monitor outcomes, and participate in staff education and quality initiatives while upholding state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including assignment of tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
• Ensure that all resident care is delivered in accordance with our center's policies and procedures, as well as relevant state and federal regulations
• Monitor and report on resident outcomes and quality metrics, making adjustments as needed to improve care
• Lead and participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction
• Participate in staff education and training, addressing any knowledge gaps and ensuring that all team members are equipped to deliver high-quality care
