Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to oversee all aspects of transplant patient care. You will assess needs, plan with patients, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care across the continuum.

You will educate patients and families, demonstrate leadership in quality improvement and research, and follow ANA/UNOS guidelines. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship and requires active RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Collaborate with patient, caregiver and multidisciplinary team to plan across care continuum.
• Assess data and interpret for age-specific patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education consistently.
• Provide leadership through community involvement, committees, quality improvement and research.
