Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to oversee the coordination of care for the transplant patient population. You will assess patient needs with the care team, plan care across the continuum, and educate patients and families consistently.

Leadership through quality improvement and committee work is expected, following ANA/UNOS/FACT standards. TN sponsorship is available, with state licensure required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• RN license and BLS certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients with patient, caregiver and multidisciplinary team.
• Plan and assess patient status and tailor care across the continuum.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Demonstrate leadership through committee work, quality improvement and research.
