Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care, collaborating with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to meet needs across the care continuum.

The role requires an RN license, ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing education, 1 year RN experience (3 years preferred), and TN sponsorship eligibility; BLS certification is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience required, 3 years preferred.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date; acceptable certifications include AHA/Heartcode BLS etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care in collaboration with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and family education; lead quality improvement and research efforts.
• Demonstrate leadership through committees and community involvement; follow ANA/UNOS/FACT guidelines.
