Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to oversee and coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care across the care continuum. You will assess patient needs with the care team, educate patients and families, and provide leadership in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements include an ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program, 1 year RN experience (3 years preferred), and an active RN license with BLS.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to work autonomously and in a team.
• Current RN license; BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Coordinators in Transplant must obtain transplant certifications within three years.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients.
• Plan with patient, caregiver, and interdisciplinary team across the care continuum.
• Educate patients and families on a consistent basis.
• Provide leadership through committees and quality improvement activities.
• Adhere to ANA scope of practice, UNOS and FACT guidelines.
• Eligible for TN sponsorship; state licensure required; continued certification as needed.
