Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care across the continuum. You will assess patient needs with the care team, provide education to patients and families, and lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

The role requires an ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program and an active RN license, with 1 year of RN experience preferred. Flexible hours and potential hybrid work support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and ACEN/CCNE‑accredited nursing program completion.
• Flexible hours; ability to adapt to unpredictable patient care settings.
• Leadership and interpersonal effectiveness; strong communication and critical thinking.
• Must obtain transplant-related certifications within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care with patient, caregiver and multidisciplinary team.
