Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population. You will assess needs with patients, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team across the care continuum, providing education and leadership in quality improvement and research.

The role requires an RN license, a bachelor's degree in nursing, and 1 year (3 years preferred) of clinical RN experience, with flexibility for on-call duties and weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience required, 3 years preferred.
• RN license by state requirements; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Assess data and plan with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team across the care continuum.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Demonstrate leadership through committees, quality improvement and research.
