Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population. You will assess needs with patients, caregivers and a multidisciplinary team, interpret patient data, and educate families consistently.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and flexibility to work varied hours; certification timelines are defined. Salary ranges per hour; sponsorship may be considered in some cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year clinical RN experience required, 3 years preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients in collaboration with patients, caregivers and multidisciplinary team.
• Assess and plan care across the care continuum and interpret patient data.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Lead through community involvement, committee work and quality improvement activities.
