Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population. You will assess needs with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families consistently to support informed decisions.

Leadership through community involvement, committee work, and quality improvement activities is expected, following ANA, UNOS, and FACT guidelines. TN sponsorship is eligible for this position.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in applicable state required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Assess and plan with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Provide leadership through activities such as community involvement, committee work, and quality improvement and research.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, UNOS and FACT guidelines.
