Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care across the care continuum. You will assess needs with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team, providing education and leadership in quality improvement and research.

The role requires RN licensure with BLS and experience; sponsorship may be available and adherence to FACT and UNOS guidelines is essential. Monday-Friday, full-time position in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• RN with at least 1 year of clinical experience; 3 years preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS certification.
• Willing to obtain CCTC/CCTN within 3 years; OC N/CPHON or BMTCN in bone marrow transplant area as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Assess and plan with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families consistently.
• Provide leadership through community involvement, committee work, and quality improvement/research.
