HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an RN Coordinator to influence patient care by coordinating patient transfers across facilities within the division.

You will use clinical knowledge to match patient needs with bed capacity and service capabilities, collaborating with referring facilities and hospital staff to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and data-keeping skills, with a focus on EMTALA and compliance as part of daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ related clinical experience in an acute care setting (ED or Critical Care preferred).
• RN License in the states where the facilities are located – multi-state license may be required.

• Perform transfer center functions with centralized patient placement.
• Coordinate transfer of emergent, urgent and elective patients to final destination facilities.
• Facilitate patient throughput with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate patient data in center systems and records.
• Communicate with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staff about transfers.
