Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem is hiring an RN for the 10-bed Throughput Unit. The role supports observation nursing across admissions, pre-surgery, and recovery, requiring careful documentation and coordination with the care team.

Qualifications: graduate from a Board of Nursing–approved program, active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. BSN is preferred. Sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific depending on practice location).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum by leveraging the nursing process, administering treatments per protocol, and adapting care based on patient needs.
Collaborate effectively with the care team while maintaining accurate documentation, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and upholding professional standards, ethics, and ongoing development (including flexibility to float as needed).
