Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is hiring a Registered Nurse (New Graduate) for a 10-bed Throughput Unit in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time night-shift role features three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotations.

The RN will provide direct care using the nursing process, document in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, age-appropriate patient care. Opportunities for professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the team.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and promotes safety.
• Possibly floats to other units to meet patient care needs.
