Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across diverse acute care settings. The RN delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization and requires BLS, an Ohio RN license, and BSN within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis – performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning – documents planned nursing interventions based on diagnoses to meet patient needs (30%).
• Implementation/Evaluation – evaluates and documents response to interventions and revises plan of care with the team (20%).
• Leadership – participates in process improvement to improve quality, satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
• Operations – contributes to daily unit operations to ensure safe, efficient care.
