Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Travel RN with Telemetry expertise for a 13-week day shift assignment in Denver. The unit has 32 beds with a 4-5 patient per nurse ratio, and candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care telemetry experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will work 12-hour days (07:00–19:00) within a team that includes a charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, CNAs, and a sitter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Active Registered Nurse license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Telemetry nursing care on a 32-bed unit.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions with IV and foley management.
• Collaborate with charge nurse, RNs, CNAs and staff to maintain safety.
• CABG post-operative care experience is preferred but not required.

Description:We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry.The position requires a commitment of 13 weeks on a day shift from 07:00 to 19:00.This unit has 32 beds and a staffing ratio of 4 or 5 patients per nurse.Typical staff on the day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter.Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience.Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients is preferred but not required.The equipment utilized in this unit includes a GE Telemetry system and the EMR is Meditech.We are looking for outgoing team players who are willing to take initiative.Typical procedures performed in this unit include IV and foley catheter insertion and chest tube removal.This is an opportunity to join a team focused on quality care in a collaborative environment.
