Description:Position in a Telemetry Observation Unit.This unit has 10 beds for patients being ruled out for certain diagnoses.Patients typically stay 24 to 48 hours.Diagnosis varies and includes medical cases.There will be occasional overflow from surgical cases.No medication drips are managed in this unit.RNs are required to have a strong background in Telemetry.Every other weekend and participation in holiday rotations are required.On-call duties for 5-6 night shifts in a 6-week period are expected.Floating to meet facility needs is required.The facility provides interdisciplinary support, including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.RNs must have the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.Charting is done using an electronic health record system.This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic
