Description:Float throughout the hospital to various medical/surgical telemetry areas.Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.Experience in telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every four hours is required.Must have experience with TR Band and be proficient in performing cardiac drips.The clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night.Care for patients including those in the emergency department, acute mental health unit, and non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU.Units vary in size from 8 to 41 beds.There are rotation requirements that include days and evenings, with potential rotations to nights during the contract.The electronic medical records (EMR) system used is EPIC.
