Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN - Neuro Tele for a 13-week night position in Chandler, AZ. The unit specializes in telemetry with a 26-bed capacity and a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience, and hold a current license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications. Ability to interpret EKGs is required; Prophecy Dysrhythmia exam must be passed within 24–48 hours prior to acceptance (up to two attempts).

Description:The unit requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.It has 26 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3-4.Charge nurses have no patient assignments and there is a manager available in a management role.Patient care techs are available at a ratio of 1 per every 13 patients.Weekend work is required every other weekend.Scrub colors are navy.Centralized telemetry is utilized.Patients commonly experience neuro, CVA, pulmonary, and general telemetry diagnoses.A respiratory team is available 24/7.Pharmacy services are also available 24/7.Shifts are 12 hours long, from 7 PM to 7 AM.Floor-specific orientation is 2 days on the floor.The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts for 13-week assignments and 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks.The charting system in use is Cerner.
