Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. in Mississippi is seeking a licensed RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants. Organize tours of duty, evaluate policies, and ensure compliance with facility procedures.

This position offers part-time and full-time hours with a pay range of $33 to $41.50 per hour, depending on experience and shift. Previous long-term care and MDS/RAI familiarity is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience required.
• Supervisory experience with Nursing Assistants.
• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in this state.
• Long-Term Care and MDS/RAI experience strongly desired.
• At least six (6) months as a staff nurse in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Organize and assign nursing duties to balance workload.
• Review policies and update job descriptions as needed.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies.
• Plan appropriate services and activities for your shift.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Maintain resident charts weekly and document changes.
• Make rounds every two hours to supervise aides.
• Coordinate with ADON/DON on changes in resident condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
