Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct nursing care experience with residents

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure quality care.
• Organize and assign duties during each tour of duty.
• Review department policies and job descriptions for revisions.
• Implement policies and ensure staff compliance with procedures.
• Plan appropriate services, programs and activities for the shift.
• Coordinate with other resident services to follow care plans.
• Participate in quality assurance programs.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing about residents and staff.
• Contribute to facility surveys and update discharge plans.
