Job summary

The role requires an RN license, an associate degree or diploma in nursing, and at least one year of RN experience in an applicable setting. Flexibility for varied hours and on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• RN with a state licensure and current license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate degree or diploma).
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting.
• Ability to lead, delegate, and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as a formal and informal leader on the unit and plan daily workflows.
• Delegate patient care based on acuity, skills, and resources.
• Lead staff development, teaching, and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate nursing care and patient education across the care continuum.
• Work within Mayo Nursing Care Model and may provide direct clinical care.
