Qualifications

• RN with nursing degree and licensure.
• Experience in a clinical team environment.
• Ability to lead and teach staff and coordinate patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and delegate nursing care on the unit according to skill and patient needs.
• Coordinate daily planning and staff development activities.
• Provide education, precepting, and participate in quality improvements.
• Contribute to evidence-based practice and research.
• Ensure transitions of care and patient/family education are managed.
• Possibly provide direct clinical care as needed.
