Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate degree or diploma in a nursing program and one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting.
• RN start date evidence requirements for BSN completion within five years for certain hires.
• Experience working in a team environment with autonomy and decision-making in patient flow.
• Current RN licensure by applicable state requirements and BLS certification.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems and willingness for flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care on the unit, including direct patient care and education.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, acuity, and resource availability.
• Provide staff development, teaching, precepting, and participate in quality improvements.
• Support the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ensure consistency across care settings.
