Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead the Surgical Services team in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota. You will partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure high-quality care, strong patient outcomes, and adherence to safety standards in a busy environment.

The role requires a BSN, RN licensure, and 2+ years in OR/PACU, with responsibilities including staffing, workflow optimization, and staff development to maintain an efficient, patient-centered unit.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing licensure in state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in OR or PACU.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high-quality nursing care in Surgical Services.
• Partner with Nurse Manager to plan, manage, and evaluate care and daily operations.
• Ensure smooth transitions of care and adherence to standards.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Support performance improvement and departmental goals.
• Assist with orientation, training, and evaluations for staff.
• Promote collaborative, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.
