Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, to lead patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This role requires a BSN or ADN, active state licensure, and certifications (BCLS within 1 month, ACLS within 1 year).

The schedule features 60 hours per pay period, rotating 12-hour shifts, with day and overnight options, and weekend rotations. Comprehensive benefits provided.

• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient Care: organize and deliver comprehensive care by managing all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Guide and Delegate: act as a team leader by delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on licensure, training, and role specifications.
• Contribute to a Greater Mission: advance the facility’s and Essentia’s mission and goals, making a meaningful community impact.
• Ensure Compliance: adhere to Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
• Monitor Critical Conditions: provide continuous assessment and monitoring of patients in critical conditions.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
