The role requires 1 year of recent surgical experience, Minnesota RN licensure, and Wisconsin licensure within two months of hire, plus an active BLS certification and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year recent experience in surgery and knowledge of infection control and surgical procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Minnesota; Wisconsin license within two months of hire.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross (online BLS not acceptable).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and plan of care.
• Delegate nursing tasks and supervise care.
• Create and implement teaching plans based on identified patient need.
• Act as a resource for other staff and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care.
