Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking an acute care RN Supervisor to lead nursing care delivery and patient support services within a hospital setting. You will assess, direct and evaluate care to meet quality metrics and coordinate transitions across the care continuum.

The role requires 2+ years of RN experience, a valid nursing license in the employed state, and BCLS certification. A hybrid/remote option may be available, with day shifts and shared governance support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• Current RN licensure in state(s) of employment and BCLS within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Assess, direct, manage and evaluate nursing care and patient support services to meet standards and quality metrics.
• Ensure streamlined patient care delivery systems and smooth transitions across the continuum.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and staff orientation/education/evaluations.
