Job summary

Endeavor Health's Edward Main Hospital in Naperville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Care Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, day shifts 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, and opportunities for professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or higher), 1+ year RN experience in an inpatient unit, Illinois RN license and CPR certification. A pathway to BSN within five years is provided for those with an ADN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing required.
• Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• If ADN is the highest degree, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Uses critical thinking to assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, and monitor progress.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks and collaborates with the team.
