Job summary

Endeavor Health's Edward Main Hospital in Naperville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Care Unit. This full-time role requires 1+ year RN experience in an inpatient setting, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and Illinois RN licensure with CPR certification.

Work hours are days, 7:00am–7:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits including incentive plans, premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and parking.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If ADN is the highest degree, BSN must be completed within five years of start date.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification (AHA or BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per the Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations; delegate tasks to staff.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet unit goals.
