Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Care Unit at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience, a Nursing degree (B.S. or A.D.N.), and Illinois RN licensure with CPR certification. A Bachelor’s degree within five years of start date is required if only an ADN is held.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care according to the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Employs critical thinking, assesses patients' condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, records observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks and works as a team member to meet unit goals.
