Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Medication Assistants Certified (MACs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) per each resident’s care plan.

You will direct daily nursing functions, coordinate care, communicate with physicians, document resident responses, and ensure orders are executed in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Being a Registered Nurse in Alabama and providing direct care.
• Supervising LPNs, MACs, CNAs and coordinating resident care.
• Documenting care, communicating with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of LPNs, MACs and CNAs on designated units.
• Provide resident care including assessments, planning, treatments, and medications.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about resident status and plan adjustments.
• Make rounds with physicians and document care and treatment.
• Review physician orders and ensure execution.
• Meet with residents and families as needed to address concerns.
• Complete medication pass audits and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Complete forms and reports as required.
• Coordinate resident activities with other staff and inform of new admissions.
• Report issues to Nursing leadership and supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed.
