Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking an RN to supervise nursing staff and deliver direct resident care in a skilled nursing facility setting in Alabama. The role requires coordinating with physicians and staff to implement care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

The RN will oversee LPNs, MACs, and CNAs, supervise daily nursing activities, document resident responses, and participate in care planning, medication administration, and rounds with physicians.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Alabama.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of LPNs, MACs and CNAs.
• Provide resident care including assessments, care planning, treatments, medications and interventions.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing leadership about residents' status and admissions.
• Conduct rounds with physicians and document care.
• Review and transcribe physician orders and ensure execution.
• Meet with residents and families as necessary; report issues to Supervisors.
• Complete medication pass audits and report discrepancies to Nursing leadership.
• Complete required forms and reports.
