Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise daily nursing activities in our long-term care facility in Pell City, Alabama.

You will ensure care is provided per plan, regulations, and quality standards, while guiding a team of licensed and certified staff. Your role includes orientation, shift assignments, admissions, care planning, medication administration, and coordination with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and licensed as an RN in Alabama.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a long-term care facility or nursing home.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing staff in accordance with the resident care plan and regulations.
• Develop and maintain orientation for new staff on policies and procedures.
• Assign shifts and resident assignments daily.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per doctor orders.
• Meet with residents or families to discuss care plans.
• Lead care planning and communicate shift observations to leadership.
• Coordinate rounds with physicians and schedule visits.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Document all interventions per policy; report discrepancies.
• Identify and communicate medication or supply needs to leadership.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
