Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing with valid RN state license.

• Excellent communication with residents, family members and all levels of the organization; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident care plans and implement nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and start IVs as ordered; document treatments.
• Supervise LPNs, LVNs and CNAs; coordinate care with other departments.
• Lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans and document observations.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures; report observations.
