Job summary

West Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations and lead a team of nursing professionals.

You will ensure high-quality resident care, maintain regulatory compliance, and mentor staff across day, evening, and night shifts. Full-time or part-time schedules available in a rehabilitation/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and resident care standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of nursing professionals.
• Compassionate, patient-centered, and committed to quality care.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the nursing team to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with residents and families.
• Ensure nursing practices comply with state, federal, and facility regulations and standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and oversee documentation.
• Lead and coordinate shift assignments, ensuring adequate coverage and staffing.
• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor residents' health, vital signs, and medical records for quality care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assess needs for critical care.
• Participate in care meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing staff education.
• Promote teamwork, respect, and continuous learning within the nursing department.
