Park Avenue Extended Care in Long Beach, NY is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on the day shift. The ideal candidate will oversee resident care, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes in a skilled nursing environment.

Requirements include NY RN licensure, BLS/CPR, infection control, child abuse training, and at least 1 year of supervisory nursing home experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New York State RN license.
• BLS/CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Infection Control Certificate.
• NYS Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure excellence in resident care.
• Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff education and in-services.
• Collaborate with the Unit Manager to develop and coordinate resident care plans.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and management.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
• Assess residents daily, oversee new admissions, and ensure physician orders are carried out.
• Respond to medical emergencies and make sound clinical decisions.
• Investigate and report suspected abuse, neglect, or mistreatment per state guidelines.
• Counsel staff on performance and attendance as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Nursing Administration.

Pay Rate: Up to $115,000

Position Overview

Park Avenue Extended Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on the day shift. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about high-quality resident care and staff development in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure excellence in resident care
