Job summary

Berkshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence, RI, is seeking a Part Time RN Supervisor to oversee daily clinical operations and provide leadership to nursing staff. This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff mentorship within a supportive work environment.

The RN Supervisor will mentor nurses and CNAs, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing (RI License or Compact).
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Conduct rounds and assess resident conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses and nursing assistants.
